MP Bhulekh - WebGis 2.0, Khasara Khatauni 2026
Madhya Pradesh has upgraded its land records system with the launch of MP Bhulekh WebGIS 2.0 (webgis2.mpbhulekh.gov.in), replacing the older portal with a faster and more efficient platform. The new version offers quicker access to digitized land records covering over 1.5 crore parcels across all 55 districts of the state.
This upgrade addresses many of the performance issues users faced with the previous system and makes it significantly easier to look up ownership details, khasra numbers, and plot-level information without delays.
Key Features of MP Bhulekh Portal
The MP Bhulekh portal offers a wide range of features designed to make land record access straightforward and reliable for citizens across Madhya Pradesh.
- Khasra and Khatauni Records — Users can look up their land details including ownership information, land type, area, and crop details by entering their district, tehsil, village, and plot number. The records can be searched using the landowner's name, survey number, or plot number.
- Bhu Naksha (Land Maps) — The portal provides digitized land maps through its WebGIS 2.0 interface, allowing users to view plot boundaries, surrounding land parcels, and geographical positioning of their property.
- Digitally Signed Certified Copies — For official and legal purposes, users can obtain digitally signed copies of Khasra, Khatauni, and other land documents. These copies are legally valid and can be used for court proceedings, bank loans, and government submissions. This is a paid service that requires registration on the portal.
- Ownership Transfer Records — If a property has changed hands through sale, inheritance, or any other process, the portal allows users to track the ownership transfer history linked to a specific plot.
- Land Revenue Payment — Citizens can pay their land revenue (lagan) online through the portal without visiting a tehsil office.
- RCMS (Revenue Case Management System) — The portal integrates with the RCMS system, allowing users to check the status of revenue court cases, view order copies, and track case proceedings related to land disputes.
- Diversion Records — Users can check the status of land use conversion, such as changing agricultural land to non-agricultural use, directly on the portal.
- Archival Document Access — The portal maintains a digital archive of scanned historical land documents, giving users access to older records that were previously only available in physical form at government offices.
- Mobile App Access — All major features are also available through the official MP Bhulekh mobile app on the Google Play Store, making it convenient to check records on the go.
- Bilingual Support — The entire platform is available in both Hindi and English, ensuring accessibility for a wider user base.
